'Data and You' examines the impact technological and data-driven systems have on the individual in order to inspire informed and politicised discussions about accountability in processes of technology design and development.
It seeks to politicise the question of what happens when technological and data-driven systems are used in the real world and explores the goals, ideologies and concepts that drive the way they are built. It asks are these technologies designed for everyone, or for just a few? and what impact do their business models and assumptions have on the user-experience, on individual rights, and on autonomy and agency?
